Che cosa si intende per TLD?

I TLD (Top Level Domain) sono i domini di primo livello e si suddividono in due gruppi:

  • i ccTLD (country code Top Level Domain) che fanno riferimento a paesi, nazioni o aree geografiche come .it, .de, .fr, .uk o .eu (esempio registro.it). 
  • i gTLD (generic Top Level Domain) che hanno carattere generico come .net, .com. o .org. (esempio fao.org)
